Jan Manni is a Level II Certified Sommelier, Court of the Master Sommeliers and holds a Wine Marketing Certification from Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo. She has an amazingly refined palate, a Professional Wine Judge, and has judged thousands of wines worldwide including a Judge for 2009 & 2010 at the National Women's Wine Competition together with Gina Gallo and other prominent personalities in the wine scene.
Jan established The Wine Attic in 2004 and has won several business awards and recognitions, including two-time award winner for Best of Paso Robles from the US Local Business Association, Washington D.C. She currently consults for several wineries and many California restaurants. Jan is also a member of the Guild of Sommeliers and wine writer for several on-line magazines and websites.

With a Masters in Internet Marketing, Jan consults with wineries to enhance their website presence and branding including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) using analytic and metrics testing of eSales and PR campaigns.

Currently, Jan is working on building up The Wine Attic as an eSite/Blog after closing the winebar/bistro at the end of 2008. Jan now resides in Northern California and tasting her way through the NoCal AVAs.
